If you are looking for a discreet method of bird control in Kent, Surrey, Sussex or London to keep pest pigeons or seagulls off your property then our electric bird proofing system may be the answer.
A totally flexible system that can be installed almost anywhere to deter birds from landing or nesting on your premises.
Our shock track system for birds is ideal for:
Low visibility
Choice of colours for tracks and lead wires to blend with building
Highly effective against all pest birds
Can be shaped to fit the building or signage, curves, bends, etc
Long lasting, robust system with minimal maintenance
Low running costs via installed track energisers
Our bird shock track system is an effective method of bird control that is designed to change the habits of invading birds.
The system works by sending an electric pulse through the track. Should a bird land on it a low voltage electric shock is sent through the pest bird’s feet.
This is totally harmless – it is not designed to kill birds!
They will soon recognise this as a dangerous area and will not attempt to land.
Many authorities, including the RSPB, recognise electric bird track systems as a safe method of bird control.
Firstly, the area has to be totally cleaned and sanitised to remove any signs of bird activity and to ensure a clean install.
The track system is secured into place using an industry mastic.
We are able to jump from section to section of buildings or signage using jump connectors and lead wire.
The track is then connected to a low-voltage energiser powered by a 240V socket from either inside your building or from a weatherproof box which we can install on the external part of your building.
Finally we install yellow warning signs where the track is operating to warn other contractors, and window cleaners that there is an electric track working.
We recommend the track system is serviced at least every 12 to 18 months, depending on location, to ensure it is working as it should.
